You will be a light to the world – Pres. Eyring shares the importance of reading the scriptures and testimony

President Henry B. Eyring, second counselor to President Nelson has used his social media handles to help members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and everyone in the world to understand the need for scripture study and having a testimony.

He acknowledged that sometimes in life, people are too busy to pray, read the scriptures or to even obey commandments given by God. However, that comes with a price to pay as stated in Alma 32:40: “And thus, if ye will not nourish the word, looking forward with an eye of faith to the fruit thereof, ye can never pluck of the fruit of the tree of life.”

For your testimony to grow, heartfelt prayer and obedience to the Lord’s commandment must be applied in our lives.
