Where to Focus on After the COVID-19 Comes to an End – From Sunday General Conference Session

Our leaders during the conference have helped us to know what we can do that will benefit others after the pandemic. These things when done will help us come closer to our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ. Not only that, but we will also have the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost.

Temple Visit & Family History Work: Whiles temples are closed for this period, no going to work and holidaying, the best thing to do now is to be engaged in finding names of your dead ancestors. A phone call to your elderly ones can help you in gathering the names of your loved ones who are in the spirit world. In doing so, you will know them and they will be happy you are making an effort even during this difficult time. This will prepare you to enter and perform ordinances after Covid-19 comes to an end. Pres. Nelson said; “When these temporary COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, please schedule regular time to worship and serve in the temple,”

Humanitarian Work: After the defeat of COVID-19 is that all? I say nay. There are more worrying things to fight. Elder Holland of the quorum of the twelve apostles helped us in seeing beyond COVID-19.

Elder Holland “When we have conquered it — and we will — may we be equally committed to freeing the world from the virus of hunger and freeing neighborhoods and nations from the virus of poverty. May we hope for schools where students are taught — not terrified they will be shot —and for the gift of personal dignity for every child of God, unmarred by any form of racial, ethnic or religious prejudice,”

  1. I would like to be a part of world wide prayer together all for the same purpose. I think it is quite incredible to see all who have joined together for this cause.
    Thank you.
