UAE Embassy Congratulates The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints

Following the announcement of a temple to be built in Dubai, the embassy on its twitter account has congratulated the church. The announcement makes Dubia the first in the Middle East to have a temple.

The tweet reads, “The UAE Embassy congratulates Pres. @NelsonRussellM and @CH_JesusChrist on their announcement f a Temple that will be built in Dubai’s District 2020. The temple will be the first in the Middle East, and will serve thousands in the region.”

“The UAE welcomes this very important milestone. This new house of worship will join the diverse gathering of other religions in the UAE, where we welcome multi-nation congregations and have built houses of worship throughout our country.”

The announcement of the Dubia temple to be built came with seven others;

  • Bahía Blanca, Argentina
  • Tallahassee, Florida
  • Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of the Congo
  • Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
  • Benin City, Nigeria
  • Syracuse, Utah
  • Shanghai, People’s Republic of China

  1. Je suis très reconnaissant au président RUSSELL M NELSON pour le service et le soutien surtout sa prière pour nous les membres et aussi pour le monde entier. La construction de ces temples vont permettre aux enfants de notre père céleste de s’approcher de leur but qui est la vie éternelle.
