The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints makes huge donations to Philipines Civil Defense

The fight against COVID-19 is still on going and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints keeps on donating to make sure the virus is contained.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has donated to the Civil Defense of the Philippines. The donation was led by Elder Taniela Wakolo, General Authority Seventy. Donated items to the Civil Defense were 0,000 surgical face masks, 20,000 cloth masks, 5,000 N95 face masks, 2,000 medical gloves, and 500 face shields.

To make sure the world gets to know the kind gesture made by the church, Civil Defense of the Philippines took to their Twitter handle to make the donation known. In their Twit, they said, “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints earlier today turned over its donation of 10,000 surgical face masks, 20,000 cloth masks, 5,000 N95 face masks, 2,000 medical gloves, and 500 face shields to Office of Civil Defense.”
