Latter-day Saint missionaries in Canada hosted by a member of parliament

Six missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have been hosted by a Canadian member of parliament to thank them for their great work during the pandemic. This was brought to light when he posted it on his social media handle.

The MP doing the hosting is in the name of Tim S. Uppal. Tim is a member of parliament in Canada representing Edmonton Mill Woods constituency.

This kind gesture from the MP was to thank the missionaries for their great work. He posted, “Pleased to host these young men from Mill Woods @LDSchurch to thank them for the great work they are doing to support Mill Woods families during the pandemic. #Yeg#Edmonton#MillWoods

Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the church and its missionaries are doing their best to help in the best way possible. Most of their good works are being put out there by the media and individuals.
