First Presidency authorizes art representing Jesus Christ to be placed in foyers and entryways

The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has in a letter authorized the placement of art showcasing the Savior in foyers and entryways of meetinghouses. This letter has been addressed to all church leaders in the world to see to it implementation.

This act by the church is to testify of our central belief in Jesus Christ. Members and visitors will have the opportunity to always have their focus on the Savior and reverence Him when in the meetinghouse.

Church leaders in recent times are doing their best to help members of the church focus on the Savior. Below is the PDF containing the letter and its instructions;
