Elder Gong to dedicate the new Winnipeg Manitoba Temple in Canada

Elder Gong an apostle of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint is to dedicate the Winnipeg Manitoba Temple. This announcement was made by the First Presidency of the church.

The dedication of the temple will take place on Sunday, November 8, 2020. As reported on the church site. There will be three sessions starting from 9 in the morning, noon, and three in the afternoon. This new temple will become the 9th operational temple in Canada when dedicated.

As it is always done with new temples when completed, members of the community will be given the opportunity to tour the new temple before its dedication. This practice is called open house. The tour dates for the open house are as follows; October 22 to October 31, 2020, excerpt October 25 which is a Sunday.

The opportunity to tour the new temple will afford community members to learn the functions of it and the church. This practice is done before it is being dedicated to the Lord. After the dedication, only worthy members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint will be allowed to worship in it.
