Leaders of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have postponed this year’s For Strenght of Youth conference in the United States and Canada due to the pandemic. This decision was taken to help youths of the church not to be at risk of the COVID-19.
Due to this decision, the FSY has been postponed to 2021 when it will be safer to hold large gatherings. ldsregular.com believes this is the best decision as it goes in line with the guideline given by WHO not have gatherings that can easily help with the spread of the virus.
In other parts of the world, Area Presidencies will decide whether it is save to hold the conference. With the current situation, it is not likely to have an FSY conferences in 2020 but to be held in 2021.
For Strenght of Youth conference is a program that brings youths together in an area of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Youths are taught from the Strenght of Youth.
