University rejects a student because she is a Latter-day Saint

A young woman’s dream of schooling and swimming for the Arizona Christian University has been shattered because she is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. One will wonder why such an act will be taken by a Christian university.

The news of her non-admission was announced by her uncle with name Spencer Linton. According to the source, the school does not recognize the church and its members as Christians.

In an attempt to convince her, the school’s coach advised her to choose nondenominational Christian on the application and then resubmit to be admitted into the university.

This news comes as a shocker to many Latter-day Saints and non-members who are well abreast with the church and its teachings. One will wonder, is the name of the church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) not enough to tell people Latter-day Saints are Christians?

  1. This is very shameful, even the people who are admitted just by denying that they are nondenominational is very serious because no one knows where they come from. What at all has the church done to deserve all these kind of embarrassment…..

  2. Our Faith is never shaking and it’s a great opportunity for us as member of the church to get more closer to them and help them understand who we are,our believes and unshakable faith in Lord Jesus Christ.
GOD BLESS THE PROPHET OF THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS.

  3. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints carries the name Jesus Christ! That’s very clear . We are Christians!

  4. I have been considering switching from the Southern Baptist Church to the LDS for a number of reasons. This nails it!
