6 Temples to reopen on June 29 – Phase one temple reopening moves to 98 with 70 closed

With more COVID-19 recoveries being recorded, more Latter-day Saints temples are reopening. So far 92 temples have reopened with 6 more temples to reopen on June 29, 2020. The total number of reopening temples will be 98 with the closed temples now reduced to 70.

The main focus for the reopening of these temples is to allow living married men and women to be sealed with fewer participants.

The 6 to reopen on June 29, 2020:

  1. Columbia South Carolina Temple
  2. Colonia Juárez Chihuahua Mexico Temple
  3. Guadalajara Mexico Temple
  4. Las Vegas Nevada Temple
  5. Monterrey Mexico Temple
  6. Toronto Ontario Temple

  2. Brisbane Australia Temple
  3. Paris France Temple
  4. Santo Domingo Dominican Republic Temple

  1. I’m so grateful our Temples are finally opening. My favorite place to be. When I took my Endownment I made a covenant with Heavenly Father I would attend every session for a year -TempleBellevue….. and I kept my covenant !!🙏🏻
    I feel lost when my Sister friends & I are unable to go (ever 2weeks).. looking forward when ours open ..
