12 Temples to reopen on June 15 – Total number of Phase 1 temples move to 89 – Tonga, Philippines, and South Africa are part

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has added 12 temples to the Phase 1 reopening. The total number of operational temples around the world will be 89 temples from June 15, 2020.

With Phase 1 still in focus, living husbands and wives have the opportunity of sealing their marriages with a limited number of participants.

Below are the 12 Temples that will start operation on June 15, 2020:

  3. Durban South Africa Temple
  4. Hartford Connecticut Temple
  5. Johannesburg South Africa Temple
